I watch Oryn and Kallias until I can no longer see them between the lines of huts and among the other huiΓ³i walking about. Their absence causes a strange emptiness to root inside me.
While I know there will come a day when each of my current companions will no longer be by my side at all times, I’m not looking forward to that moment. Not anytime soon at least. In a lot of ways, I feel like I need them just as much as the sin they insist I feed on.
