I had two passions in my life, music, and Cade West. When I was offered the opportunity of a lifetime to attend Julliard on full scholarship, I took it. I thought I could have it all, Cade on the other hand had other plans. At eighteen years old we went our separate ways. While I pursued music, he shipped out to Iraq. We went from being best friends, and lovers to complete strangers over the course of six years. With school behind me, I packed up my shiny new music degree, and my boyfriend, and drove back home to Sweet Water, Alabama. What I wasn’t prepared for was seeing Cade again, and the feelings that came along with him. I thought coming home was what I needed, but maybe it wasn’t home that I was searching for.
