Natalia Darling… Natalia was supposed to be spending her honeymoon in a modern day castle, that was now a bed and breakfast, with her new husband, Greg Sims. Until she’d walked in on him and her best friend having sex in the women’s restroom, in the church, on the day of her wedding. They’d both tried to explain once they saw her standing in the doorway, but how do you explain away that kind of betrayal?
She’d almost decided to go back home and lock herself in her room for the three weeks she’d scheduled time off from work. However, she had the reservations for the room in her purse, and Greg had taken her shopping to buy new clothes for their trip. Why not go ahead with her plans. She could wear one of the new outfits daily, and spend the time reflecting over what had gone wrong. She knew once she got there she might regret it.
Then her cell phone died, while using her GPS, and she became lost while searching for the castle.

His family’s castle in, Kaliningrad Oblast, had remained in his family since the beginning of time. It was massive compared to the one that he’d purchased in America one hundred years before.
But he’d left his family and his life behind. He was tired of being called a monster, a bloodsucker. He had everything he needed here. The woods surrounding him were plentiful with wildlife, and though he knew he’d miss the taste of human blood, he could survive on the blood the animals would provide.
He thought he had everything he needed until her scent permeated the air.
